Texas Hold'em Tips

Here are some further tips to help place you in winning positions in Texas Hold’em, 1. If you’re playing in the big blind position, a good way to get to the pot quickly is to wait until two kings or a possible straight appears in the flop and raise as big as you can. Many players will fold and those left in may not have hands that are worth anything.  2. If in the small blind position, you have the first bet after the flop and if you have a fairly strong hand you can sometimes chase off everyone who lost at the flop and sneak the pot. 3. Don’t play too predictably or other players will see you coming when you have a big hand. Better to be able to take full advantage of a big hand with lots of players staying in to swell the pot for you. 4. Be a shark and deliberately play one or two bad hands in the early stages to have you’re opponents thinking you’re a fish. Then come out and bite them when the pot is boiling!
